Zenkin Mykola - doctor of technical sciences, professor, Head of the Department
Professional path and achievements:
He was born in Kyiv in 1968.
In 1993 he graduated with honors from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Engineering Physics. Specialty: foundry production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Since 1993 he has been studying in graduate school with and without separation from production at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.
In 1996 he defended his dissertation on the specialty 05.19.09 - Machines and units of light industry.
Since 1996 he has been studying for a doctorate with a break from production.
He received a certificate of associate professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2001.
In 2005 he defended his doctoral dissertation on specialty 05.02.08 - Mechanical Engineering Technology.
He received a certificate of professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2008.
From 1993 to present, he has worked as an assistant professor, associate professor, professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Metrology, Standardization and Certification of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD).
Since 2014 - Head of the Department of Metrology, Standardization and Certification KNUTD.
From 2015 to 2020 - Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technology KNUTD.
Author of more than 300 scientific publications in professional publications in Ukraine and abroad, 3 publications in publications included in the list of Scopus publications, 1 monograph, copyright certificates and patents for utility models, more than 20 publications of educational and methodological nature (including 2 textbooks (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine), 3 textbooks (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine).
Prepared 2 candidates of technical sciences, manages the PhD applicant, is a member of the Association of Technologists-Machine Builders of Ukraine.
Research interests:research of a scientific problem of prolongation of service life of cars and mechanisms by technological methods, in particular application of surface strengthening of details, multifaceted researches in the field of metrological maintenance of quality of production of mechanical engineering.
Awards:
1) 2000 - 2002 - Laureate of the scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists
2) 2002 - Diploma winner of the 2nd competition of scientific and technical projects of young scientists under the auspices of the NAS of Ukraine and the Kyiv City Administration for the research project "Development of a standard for determining the mechanical properties of protective coatings"
3) 2005 - Gratitude of the Kyiv mayor "For a significant personal contribution to the development of education and science" (№ 48917)
4) 2006 - Badge of the Ministry of Education and Science "For scientific achievements" (Certificate № 327)
5) 2018 - Diploma of KNUTD "For significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities, high professionalism"
Courses taught: Theory of mechanisms and machines, Mechatronics in the field of mechanical engineering, Industrial design in printing production, Fundamentals of scientific research, Research work on the topic of master's dissertation, management of diploma projects and master's theses.

Valerii Kotliarov - doctor of technical sciences, professor.
Courses taught: Perspective directions of development of energy and resource efficient processes, equipment and technologies; Mechanics of the working environment and processes; manages the pedagogical practice of PhD applicants.
Professional path and achievements:
Graduated from Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, 1967; Specialty: Mechanical Engineering Technology, Metal Cutting Machines and Tools.
Dissertation topic: "Technological fundamentals of laser processing operations design".
At Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute since 1970. He participated in the creation of a new (in 1980) specialty "Laser Technology".
Author of more than 220 publications, including 3 monographs, 4 lecture notes, more than 100 inventions, 10 manuals and recommendations. Prepared 4 candidates of sciences.
Research interests: scientific bases of laser processing technology, laser equipment.
Awards:
The Council of Ministers of the USSR Prize Laureate (1990).
He was twice awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Ukrainian SSR for the best scientific work (1977-1985), 2 diplomas of exhibitions of achievements of the UkSSR and the USSR, Awarded the badge "Inventor of the USSR".
